As a Policy Debate Consultant for North Mesquite High School competing in the Texas UIL State Championship, my main responsibility is to help students improve their argumentation, research, and public speaking skills. I work closely with students to develop and implement strategies that will help them succeed in policy debates.I am responsible for planning and organizing regular debate practices and drills, where I coach debaters on their case construction, rebuttal, and cross-examination skills.In addition to coaching and mentoring students, I provide constructive feedback to debaters on their debate performances and work with them to improve their weaknesses.
