Hi, I'm Jonathan, a junior at Brown University passionate about Computer Science and Anthropology. I am currently a researcher for the Database Group at Brown focusing on optimizing distance computations between streams of vector data through quantization, as well as the Head Teaching Assistant for Brown’s Database Management Systems course.In Computer Science, I am specifically interested in Databases, Systems, and LLMs + Artificial Intelligence. I also really enjoy web development and making usable applications.In Anthropology, I am interested in how underlying structures of power shape the way we perceive suffering, love, and death.I believe that all programmers, researchers, and developers have an obligation to consider the humanity within the usage and impact of their work through socially responsible computing practices.Have a great day!
