Helped lead the membership acquisition development team efforts at TA, which culminated in our team more than doubling the number of member signups year over year (28 million to 65 million new members). Worked across various elements of the member signup flow, including working with 3rd party authentication providers (Google, Facebook). - Worked on high visibility front end React components used across the site, including membership gating, Google Onetap, and member registration. - Proficient at making extensive updates to elements in both the newer tech stack (React/Graphql/Microservices/Kubernetes), and the older tech stack (Dust/Velocity, Monolithic Java Server, rolled up JS/LESS assets).

Developed on the SmarterAds Syndicated Ad platform, an advertising solution for travel websites for syndicating contextual ads on their site. The offering included 3rd party javascript libraries, Spring Java based web services for serving up ads in real time to some of the largest OTAs in the world, and various other services and web apps to support the platform.- Re-Architected the SmarterAds suite of products to run in AWS, primarily in a EC2 hosted Kubernetes cluster with S3 utilized for static assets, fronted by an ELB and Akamai and backed by MySQL via RDS. Additionally managed the Docker config.- Helped troubleshoot livesite issues using a number of tools at our disposal: system and service metrics exposed to Grafana, sshing to VMs directly to analyze logs/memory/disk/load issues, an internally hosted ELK stack for structured searchable logs, AppDynamics APM, as well as K8s CLI for pod health.- Updated the primary customer reporting file logging mechanism, which managed tens of millions of daily records, to an internally hosted Kafka cluster.- Helped maintain CI build and deployment scripts, which utilized Jenkins, Maven, Git and Python to move build artifacts to A10 load balanced VMs and cycle them in. - Maintained Graphite and Prometheus app metrics and dashboarding through Grafana/AppDynamics to monitor real time issues and surface them through alerts.- Used Redis for caching and Pub/Sub messaging and MySQL for data storage.- Developed modern JavaScript libraries using Webpack, Babel, and ESxxxx standards, with extensive unit testing emphasis using Mocha/Chai/Sinon. - Created and maintained private npm packages including a Node/Express demo app used for testing core 3rd party library features and for the sales team demos.- Full stack development on an internal Spring Boot & React app that made database updates via a REST API, Pub/Sub message communication using Redis, and CDN API communication.

1) Worked on a team to develop the Registry of Patient Registries (RoPR), a system allowing registry owners to input registry information, made discoverable via the search front end.- Front-end focused: HTML, CSS, Jquery/Dojo, 508 Accessibility, JavaScript, AJAX/REST service consumption, Spring MVC and Apache Solr query building.2) Developed an internal application called “Study Factory” which was the primary means of configuring and provisioning the company's SaaS offering for clinical trial data input. - Helped to architect the app, whose tech stack consisted of: GWT, Jquery/JavaScript, Spring MVC, Spring Data and MongoDB.- Configured the Continuous build infrastructure using Bamboo, SVN and Maven to automate posting build snapshots and releases to multiple environments.

Developed on Parasoft SOAtest and Load Test, an Eclipse based tool used for SOA, Cloud, Web Application, and Message/Protocol testing and automation, as well as performance testing and security/penetration testing. - Focused on web application automation (record/playback) development. - Used an Eclipse-based Java environment, and interacted with both SVN and CVS. - Developed tests: Unit tests (JUnit), Regression tests, and Manual Test Scenarios. - Helped to identify product bugs and to elicit product requirements by offering tech support to the Dev/QA teams which comprise the user base.
