Continue to develop and learn more about Over The Shoulder Support (OTSS) processes and keep up on changes to the OTSS guide. Ensure required training resources are available for presenting the training as scheduled to include proper setup and data purge of STAMIS (PBUSE) training server. Continuously evaluate course effectiveness/efficiency and provide appropriate feedback to the training/training development proponent. Maintain an up-to-date and accurate status of all requests with a suspense file, i.e., a dated request for training aids, copy of request in suspense file with director’s or unit commander’s signature, status of request approved or disapproved, a scheduled pick-up date, and any necessary follow on documents. Review POIs and training support packages for content and correct information. Review publications to ensure current changes are posted. Troubleshoot/repair/refresh STAMIS system when necessary to facilitate the least amount of class down-time.

Assist in the maintenance of the LUH-50 helicopter. Take fuel samples, change hydraulic fluid and engine oil. Remove, clean, inspect and replace engine cowlings, interior ceiling and floor panels and seats. Assist in removal and re-installation of main rotor blades. Maintain ballast weights. Read and interpret technical manuals. Assist licensed mechanics as needed. Ground Service Equipment maintenance.
