I am a Theologian/ Philosopher who identifies from the Catholic faith tradition worldview, with a keen interest in the humanities . I have developed and acquired skills, experience and qualifications relevant to this field from numerous real world experience and studies. In 2004 I started my career in the Hospitality and Retail Industry, something which I do keep my hand in on a casual basis. In 2011 I obtained a Certificate III in Retail Operations from Woolworths limited (now Group) specialising in rostering, people management, stock management and merchandising. Since 2012 my career has progressively moved across to the Healthcare Industry specialising in wellbeing which resulted in my acquired qualifications including a Bachelor in Ministry specialising In Chaplaincy (Hons). This includes the core competencies of TAFE units CHCMHS001 Work with people with mental health issues and CHCCCS016 Respond to client needs. Also a Certificate III in Individual Support specialising in aged care, specialising in personal care , infection control and correct manual handling techniques.I have worked primarily in the Healthcare industry within the aged and disability (NDIS) sectors.Having family members with disabilities on the NDIS I understand navigating the NDIS from a Clients perspective. I also understand the daily challenges that come with being differently abled and communicating that to other members of the public.I briefly During the COVID years worked within the Mining and resources sector as a Utility on remote mine sites. While this role was based with the Hospitality and Retail Industry. It gave me real world experience of working with people (and experiencing myself ) facing the challenges of wellbeing associated with isolation I have training within the healthcare sector.
