Classification & Measurement of client assets (splitting assets by Business Model), SPPI testing, and providing back up to the Impairment model. • Take full ownership for delivery of new client accounting changes. Including initial impact analysis, implementation and post-implementation support. Client changes are largely driven by fund restructuring, Solvency II, new products (including external bulk annuities), and corporate actions.• Change accounting has included in species, matching adjustments, derivative accounting, re-registrations, IFRS 9, EMIR, etc. • Ensure that clear guidelines and procedures are in place for new developments/processes created.Key achievements:• Currently the IFRS 9 implementation lead for a major UK client, delivering on schedule.
