I was in the Restaurant/Bar industry for 20 years overall. I was successful in many different roles while continuously working my way up. I started as a server and have been a General Manager. There is pride in never forgetting where you came from and keeping a conscious focus on being not just a boss, but a true leader. Throughout that time I gained extensive knowledge about how to run successful numbers, inventory, marketing plans, and the development of a staff to their fullest potential by way of coaching and integrity. I didn't do "every person for themselves" or cutthroat business tactics, but rather the simple honor of "just do the right thing". Now, I have taken those skills and principles to helping other Managers find their career path. I put great candidates with exceptional clients. Still guiding, still teaching, and still making a difference. Most of all I get to help people.
