I currently work for the State of Missouri as a Human Resource Generalist for the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations. For the Department I do payroll processing, reports for all employee time sheets, employee medical, retirement and other benefits. I also work with a team doing eligibility for all open positions or job vacancies and work to get all new hires started. I input all documentation into employee electronic personnel files that I maintain. I input worker compensation claims, employment verifications and run new hires through the E-Verify system. I worked for Jefferson City Parks and Recreation for 8 years. I was a manager for their pools and ice arena. These positions had me in charge of timesheets and payroll, training employees and doing remediation with them. For the YMCA I was in charge of different before and after school care sites and summer camp. Along with watching the kids, I was in charge of having paperwork done for each child and had to make sure the paperwork met State guidelines.
