As an Mutilple Disciplinary Team (MDT) coordinator, I am the sole organizer for specific MDT meetings within The Christie Hospital. During an MDT meeting a group of proffesionals (Doctors, Radiologists and Surgeons) discuss patient cases, to determine the treatment plan for the patient. My role as an MDT coordinator is to record their discussion onto a workbook, ensuring I have receieved the patient outcome. My main role is coordinating these meetings and ensuring that the clinicians have as much informations as they need for this discussion. Including requesting reports and external imagings to the trust, so that the radiologists can discuss the patient imaging. I am responsible for the data entry and maintenance of the Cancer Outcomes and Services Dataset (COSD).
