So since the unfortunate passing of my amazing kids mum life’s thrown a heap more my way. I do have to say but , that my time as a tradie and a sheet metal worker working on delicate mirror finish projects it’s allowed me toRealise that the journey I’m about to embark on now is where delicacy is needed rather than the boilermaker way and just smash it lol. I’ve got a newPosition to start and have chosen it simply because it ticks all the boxes now and in future. Back wen I was just 15 fresh outta school I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. Then I was introduced to sheet metal workers and signed my denture papers and havnt looked back since. From chasing the white lights to seeing part of this country I’d never have seen as I wld have had no reason my trade has given me structure, passion, financial security aswell as leadership skills and being able to see that being a leading hand isn’t about being a boss it’s about being able to manage 20 or more different personalities and doing it well. My two twins are already gunna follow in daddy’s shoes because from the moment I hit the port of Brisbane working for AMJ I’ve sent them videos multiple times a day of gauging, welding , the wind turbine blades etc. I can’t thank ppl like geek Burke, Grover, beau, Luke, ray,Pete, Timmy Liam and Shaun all AMJ employees for what they helped me get through when I lost a baby to being still born in 2022 and a big shout out to our Friday place of mass The QP at hemmant and all the girls you don’t realise how much we appreciate the time and help you give with out knowing it.
