Jonathon was raised in a motorsports family with a 30 year history of building Dirt Late Models as MasterSbilt Race Cars. He went to college at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College in Concord, North Carolina. In North Carolina Jonathon wrote for National Speed Sport News and Dirt Late Model Magazine. After returning to Indiana Jonathon worked for E-Creative Group selling print fulfillment and print advertising. He later accepted a position with Garcia Sport where he worked with Indy Car teams and logistic sales. He worked with associates to open Racing United Marketing where he secured sponsorship for a team seeking to run the Indy 500. Jonathon joined Performance Events Promotions in 2009 where he helped sale and develop the International Motorsports Industry Trade Show. During his time at IMIS Jonathon sold $500,000 worth of booth space and advertising. Jonathon also organized and executed the Hall of Champions that brought in the largest gathering of Championship Race Cars in history. After the purchase of IMIS by SEMA Jonathon worked in sales, marketing, and contact management with Arizona Sports Shirts. He also created and developed the Heartland Auto Racing Show in Des Moines, Iowa. In 2017 Jonathon was brought in as a writer and later a Rights Acquisition Manager at FloRacing. While there Jonathon helped develop Flo's online following while writing articles that regularly hit the 20k+ reader mark.
