As a PT I will strive to make physical therapy available to all by nourishing an active, movement-centered community. I will assist patients in reaching their movement goals through compassion, hard work, accountability, integrity, and excellence from both myself and my patients.My military experience has helped me develop the necessary skills to work as an individual or as a team. This experience has taught me how to give my best effort especially when it is most difficult. The military; as well as my up bringing, has instilled a work ethic and values that are difficult to match. When I have a task, I do whatever is needed to ensure that task is completed. I also have incomparable attention to detail which allows me to efficiently complete exceptional work. I believe these and other skills I've developed in the military will transfer well to physical therapy which will allow me to make an immediate positive impact on any clinic.I feel I have the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in this career because I have been prepared with a good foundation that will allow me to make a difference in the lives of my patients. I am especially eager to participate in continued education courses and professional certifications to contribute to my growth in this profession.
