I began working at Welcome as a Customer Account Manager. My role included managing around 400 accounts, ensuring customers were keeping their accounts up to date and identifying potential sales opportunities. I would also sell and write loans for new and existing customers, with potential advances of up to £27,000 as well as various “add-on” insurance products.I was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager with just 9 months tenure and initially ran a team of five people in our satellite branch in Margate before returning to Ashford as Audit and Lending Manager. Here I would be responsible for ensuring the branch sales targets were hit by effectively managing the two lending CAM’s, and ensuring all staff in the branch were compliant. I would also run the branch on a regular basis in the absence of my Branch Manager, managing a total of 15 people across two locations.I worked with Welcome Finance for nearly two years of their “collect-out” process before being made redundant in April 2012.

I worked as a salesperson at Phones4u, selling a number of different pre-paid and contract mobile phone packages, as well as insurance, landline and broadband deals. I was frequently top salesperson in the branch and competed well within the regional leagues. I left Phones4u shortly after being promoted to Sales Floor Controller to pursue my career with Welcome Finance.
