Responsible for proactive ongoing maintenance of the IT network and related technologies. Coordinates moves, additions and changes to the network infrastructure, which includes data and security, voice, wireless, application delivery, LAN/WAN optimization and monitoring platforms. This role will work independently on projects of lesser scope and complexity than more experienced engineers.Using network software tools, identifies the need for and maintains documentation including configurations, interconnections between devices and analysis of equipment lifecycles.Ensures connected device status is monitored to better ensure uptime and availability and responds to reported outages. Participates on teams in the design and set up of more complex networks.Provides Level 2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve and document issues and problems.Understands IT project plans and works with vendors and other IT personnel to arrive at various modifications to plans or resolutions to issues that may arise.
