Simplified Safety is part of the Kee Safety Group. The philosophy of Simplified Safety is to provide a high quality Ecommerce platform to facilitate sales of safety equipment through the internet route to market. Between June 2016 and May 2018 I was business development manager for 2 websites and was ultimately responsible for the setting the vision of the UK team and managing the sales numbers. I achieved strong sales results in 2017 with good increase in turnover and operating profit. My role was extremely varied my day to day tasks were. - Setting best practice sales process- Visiting various sites to advise and quote for engineered safety solutions- Ensuring all systems where complaint to BS and EN regulations- Completing RAMS for contracting work - Reporting accounting performance to Senior Management- Agreeing monthly sales forecast During my time with Simplified I also took my first steps into management. I had a direct report and between us we set the marketing vision and plan for the years 2017 and 2018. Kee Safety afforded me some fantastic opportunities. I am very appreciative towards the senior management for these opportunities.

My role as Technical Support and Sales Engineer for UK Distribution, Partners and Export is Extremely varied and allows me to draw upon my strong technical engineering education as well as being heavily exposed to commercial aspects of a sales role. This can include arranging and carrying out in depth product training sessions- Providing quotations for Kee Klamp Handrail from architectural drawings this will be for a network of approved distributors within the United Kingdom.- Providing quotations of compliant safety solutions to a network of trained installers known as Partners.- Ensuring BS and EN standards are met when designing a safety solution - Assisting in the design of new products to suit bespoke applications. - Business development through the search for new Partner companies.- Hitting sales targets through management of previously quoted opportunities. - Developing long-term relationships with clients, through site surveys and client visits. - Sales Analysis and developing sales targets
