Prior to working independently Jonathon worked for several large architectural practices based in London and the home counties. He has a broad range of design experience and an aptitude for technical detailing due to his educational background in construction studies.As a project architect his experience extends to all RIBA work stages to deliver projects from client inception through to completion for a variety of valued stakeholders ranging from private individuals to commercial organizations.This has led to a good working knowledge of different procurement methods for large-scale projects and associated team structures including all administrative procedures for quality assurance, performance and evaluation. Duties include Principal Designer for construction (design & management) and Contract Administrator.He has exceptional technical design skills including Autocad and Trimble Sketchup proficiency, and a good understanding of legal, regulatory and statutory compliance. In April 2019 Jonathon started his own private limited company for architectural activities. Working predominantly within the villages of North Buckinghamshire, projects regularly feature historic sites and period buildings of historical or architectural interest. Work includes all aspects of development from maintenance and repair to managing change. This has led to a good working knowledge of conservation practice using traditional building techniques and bio based sustainable construction materials to minimise harm and optimise energy efficiency.Task orientated, logical thinker, intuitive, hard-working, works well independently, passionate but short fused.
