The Boston Wine School was founded by wine writer and educator Jonathon Alsop as a "snob-free zone" where wine lovers at all levels of experience can come to taste, explore, and learn about wines. Each semester, the school offers a range of instuction from introductory classes like "Wine 101" and "Understanding Wine Grapes" to more in-depth wine experiences like "Wine & Cheese Pairing" and "Great Wine Regions of Europe." The Boston Wine School also hosts wine tasting receptions for up to 45 guests and multi-course wine dinners for 30.

In-store music theatres have been a major retail differentiator for Bose since the 1970s. The Music Theatre Team engineered a dramatic conversion to high-definition video in 2003.Executive producer for conversion of domestic and international Bose Music Theatres to high-definition video cinemas. Responsible for creative and technical teams producing new HD content while developing and converting to new video production methods. Produced audio, HD video, and photo sessions for in-store marketing. Worked across departments to test and install new HD video server and projection hardware in stores around the world. Highlight: we couldn't get them all into the US, so we met up with a Spanish flamenco troupe in Halifax, Nova Scotia and did the shoot there.

Teaching wine, food, writing, and literature classes for Boston, Brookline, Cambridge and Newton adult education centers. Researched, wrote, and updated dining guides to New England's best restaurants. Responsible for on-going maintenance of databases and for writing restaurant reviews. Highlights: Arrows in Ogunquit, Cafe Fleuri in Boston's Financial District, and Centre Street Cafe in Jamaica Plain.

Convergent developed a CD product catalog for Digital that evolved into the first e-commerce application on the web. Project manager for DECdirect Interactive: worked with client and contributors to develop and produce Digital's first electronic catalog, launched on the fledgling web in 1994. By 1996, responsible for technical sales and project proposal development for $3 million in multimedia work a year. Highlight: flying to Chicago and back in one day to eat steak and sign up a giant chemical supply catalog customer.

This small media production company created big corporate meetings, trade shows, and events.Wrote speeches, scripts, soundtracks, proposals, and screenplays. Produced multi-projector slide shows, videos, live staged video events, and corporate theatre for large companies. Clients included Grossman's, CVS, Meeting Planners International, and others. Highlight: laughing till I passed out working with funny guy Jeff Foxworthy before he was famous.

DG once had an international sales force and competed with the big players in corporate communications and worldwide events.Wrote and produced major international sales and incentive meetings. Scripted and staged DG's Million Dollar Club - an incentive program for top sales people - for six years in five countries. Managed production budgets into seven figures and answered to top management and ownership. Highlight: trying to get Chuck Berry paid in cash.
