Engineering Manager
Current• Develop and oversee all managerial functions for the RPII Engineering Department to meet Company goals. • Contribute to the development of basic concepts for new products and product modifications. • Develop new products from a basic concept through field release. • Plan and execute product design schedule. • Communicate with vendors to develop sources for new components and/or assemblies. • Plan and execute release of all necessary documentation for projects. • Process requests for custom versions of products within areas of expertise. • Assist Quality Control and Manufacturing in troubleshooting problems on products in areas of expertise. • Keep abreast of relevant developments in technology. • Process requests for changes to existing products in areas of expertise. • Assist in training of other staff members as needed. • Assist in development of departmental procedures. • Sales Support: Provide response to customer questions and issues. In addition, train and update sales staff on product functions.
