Jonathon is responsible for the Capital Markets and Investment Department of Colliers Vietnam; Running a multifaceted team of 8+ individuals with a focus on brokering real estate merger and acquisition transactions throughout Vietnam and Cambodia. Jonathon has successfully brokered a number of market leading transactions during his time at Colliers and has represented both local and multinational PE funds & investors, developers and institutional investors/lenders all seeking strong yields and diversification in a developing market. The Capital Markets team has successfully been awarded a number of exclusive contracts with leading multinational corporations indicating the strive to provide the highest level of real services in the country.

Consultancy and brokerage for real estate capital markets including development and stable income generating real estate throughout Vietnam and South East Asia. Leading on investment/divestment private debt and equity capital raising for clients including investment and development feasibility and analysis and advisory to drive growth & returns in line with clients goals. Financial analysis including comprehensive development appraisals and feasibility studies to ensure the appropriate strategy is articulated (NPV, IRR, DCF). All sectors and property types with a focus on commercial and industrial. Source and execute investment transactions for both local and international investors.

The Northumbria University Graduate Management Programme was designed to prepare Northumbria’s most talented graduates for a career in Management. Jonathon was awarded one of six roles in 2014 from over 500 applications. During his time in the role Jonathon focused on his specific career disciplines of real estate and management. He gained invaluable experience working hand in hand with the University's Vice Chancellors office to help develop the University 2016 to 2020 vision and strategy at a time when such quasi public/private sector institutions were undergoing a transition from government funding to a focus on private tuition based income streams. Jonathon's role included a 6 month placement in the Vice Chancellors office consulting on the strategic direction of the University as a running business and developing user lead research in order to inform and advise on investment opportunities and corporate strategy. He also spent time in the University International Office managing a number of international conferences and global forums to connect academics and professionals for improved cooperative revenue streams and research investment opportunities. Jonathon's main role included an 18 months placement within the University Estate's Dept. assisting in the management and implementation of the Universities estate plan which consisted of GBP 52 million worth of investment in property development and re-development projects. Jonathon, alongside the head of Campus and Development project managed a number of large scale redevelopment projects including the award winning IT and student central buildings.
