Lunchtab is a b2b SaaS product, providing a dedicated point of sale application, meal planning tools, and parent account management; currently operating in a number of international schools in Asia, USA and expanding quickly.Lunchtab started as a one-off project to solve a problem faced by Yokohama International School in Japan. I developed a bespoke meal ordering, point of sale and payment solution for the school's families and community, completely replacing their existing systems and parent interface. After launching Lunchtab to YIS in 2019, it became clear that other schools were in need of the same solution and we have now successfully rolled out the platform to 18 schools internationally and have started a five year growth plan covering Asia Pacific and North America regions in 2023.The technical aspects include: • REST API built with dotnet • A UI built with dotnet hosted vue.js app • OAuth2 with OpenIdConnect for managing security • Occasionally connected POS application (bi directional data sync) • Pay Station for accepting unattended cash deposits • Biometric authentication using fingerprints • Contactless authentication using MiFare Classic / DESFire compatible RFID cards • Management reporting and KPI DasboardsThe platform has been built using the following technologies: - • dotnet (WebAPI, WPF, SignalR, EF Core) • Azure • SQL Server • Docker / K8s • vue.jsAlongside the technical development aspects of this project, the transition from turning this project into a business has given me an extraordinary opportunity to build an international start-up company and to oversee its continued growth and success.

During this period, I worked on a number of projects with private companies and design agencies in the UK, France and Japan. These projects involved a variety of different types of front end and back end engineering work, integrating content management systems, eCommerce solutions and re-developing existing web applications. This role was dedicated to the implementation of a brand new end-to-end BI function within Nissan’s European region. This involved the full range of BI implementation tasks including: - Infrastructure setup (hardware and software), management engagement, setting a strategy, team creation and establishing a project portfolio.During the initial phases, I designed and created a BI proof of concept which was used at an internal company tech demonstration. Creating the POC involved:- • Setting up required Infrastructure • Designing and building small OLAP data warehouse • Implementing ETL processes • Designing and implementing iOS based reportingTools used: NATURAL/ADABAS/JCL, Informatica, PL-SQL Oracle, Microstrategy Two Data Visualisation projects were completed during the first two years (CO2 Emission monitoring and Market Coverage analysis). This allowed business functions to spend less time finding, cleaning and preparing data and more time on analysis. We used a combination of technologies:- • HTML/jQuery with c#.NET • SAP Business Objects, Informatica and Oracle Working closely with Gartner to understand current market trends and vendor capabilities, I also provided recommendations and proposals for future BI platform growth. This included a study of options ranging from fully in house managed platform and infrastructure to fully outsourced BI services. Technologies included full SAP stack (BW, HANA, BOBJ) to mixed vendor stack (Oracle, Informatica, BOBJ).

I led a team of analyst/developers and outsourced vendors to deliver multi-region, mainframe and web-based supply chain systems to manage the distribution of Nissan’s vehicles to global overseas markets.I was responsible for all aspects of the team including:- • Ensuring Project Management methodologies were followed • Design and Build Quality of delivered solutions • Budget / Forecast Accuracy of annual project portfolio • HR aspects of staffAs well as managing all aspects of the annual portfolio of IS projects, I provided advice to Nissan Europe's Management team on global SCM system strategy which included:- • Global data standardisation • Single unified global supply pipeline • New system architecture/landscape for recovery of operations in South Africa

Delivering IS projects on both a regional and global scope supporting supply chain management, sales operations and outbound vehicle logistics functions.I worked within a small team responsible for overhauling the central European vehicle pipeline systems by • Enabling real-time integration from global manufacturing facilities • Enabling real-time supply/demand optimization for the full dealer network in Europe • Reduction and optimization of legacy batch processing • Implementing system changes to support business monthly ordering process improvements During a 6 year period on multiple individual projects, I liaised with other OEM (such as Toyota, Suzuki, Renault, Samsung and Maruti) to connect production and vehicle ordering systems which enabled fully integrated ERP for cross-badged production and vehicle distribution. These solutions integrated ERP systems from many different OEMs and suppliers on a range of technologies including • z/OS (OS390) using ADABAS / DB2 and NATURAL / COBOL • ASP.NET and SQL Server Databases • J2EE and Oracle DatabasesWorking as a work-stream lead within a large team, I contributed toward the delivery of a global, web-based production ordering and vehicle distribution system. This enabled 140 smaller countries (smaller in terms of market share) to connect directly to existing ERP systems and order production from European and Asian manufacturing facilities. This project was delivered within 2 years and had an overall budget of around €2.5M.
