• Identified and seized the strategic opportunity to leverage DSL technology and the Telecom Reform Act to launch the 1st regional (east coast) broadband CLEC. Grew to leading provider of broadband services, systems integration, and enterprise solutions for private and federal sector customers. • Grew the company from 3 employees to 1,000(+) and increased revenue to $66M annually by implementing a merger and acquisition strategy to purchase customer portfolios, and developing operational and technical teams required to sell, install, and service DSL subscriber lines.• Managed corporate financing; assuming responsibility for capital acquisition (public/private equity and strategic funding) exceeding $400M. Restructured debt and convertible preferred instruments, and increased productivity and revenue by reducing the workforce and conserving capital.• Successfully developed and closed strategic alliances that included a $150M joint venture with SBC to provide broadband service, a $5M partnership with Comcast to provide NAS broadband service, and a $10M mutual wholesale resale relationship alliance with Covad. • Identified opportunities to sell technology solutions within the federal market by increasing the visibility of NAS/NASC through attendance at trade shows and conferences, as well as developing relationships with prime contractors and key federal program/contract contacts.• Led a team of solution architecture and project management professionals in successful service delivery. Delegated assignments to ensure that goals are met and drive performance enhancement through coaching, motivational encouragement, and effective communication of project scope.
