I specialize in leading high value strategic projects and programs, continuous process improvement, organizational development, vendor relationships, facilities and corporate real estate. I am passionate about accountability, collaboration and teamwork, and thrive in taking on big challenges with a team.I lead the Burns & McDonnell Corporate Facilities & Real Estate team. I previously served as Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives & Corporate Real Estate for Waddell & Reed Financial, Inc., and prior to that as SVP and Chief Procurement Officer. I led the Corporate Real Estate and Facilities teams and provided leadership for the company’s strategic projects, including merger integration, real estate development, business process outsourcing, and technology implementation. As Chief Procurement Officer, I led development of the company’s first centralized procurement function, building an exceptional team and business support program. Prior to joining Waddell & Reed, I spent four years with TIAA as Director of Strategic Sourcing, focusing on high value vendor engagements, technology deployment, and process improvement. Prior to that, I served as Vice President in Wachovia’s Global Supply Chain organization overseeing outsourcing and offshoring initiatives for the investment bank, general bank, and capital management divisions.I graduated from the University of Kansas, earned an MBA from the University of Denver, and enjoy time with my family, fitness, and fly fishing.
