Jon leads the cybersecurity engineering and operations teams responsible for Identity & Access Management, Network & Endpoint Security, and Cloud Security for Southwest Airlines. Previously for Southwest, Jon served as senior enterprise architect responsible for Southwest.com, Digital Channels, Network Planning, Revenue Management, Air Operations and Optimization Solutions (including scheduling/IROPS recovery).

Jon is senior enterprise architect responsible for Southwest.com, Digital Channels, Revenue Management and Network Planning where he leads a team of architects, advances product/technology strategy and provides delivery leadership. Digital Channels include the Southwest.com website, Mobile products, the SWABiz corporate sales website, and other commercial systems. Network planning includes systems that enable airline capacity planning, market demand forecasting, flight schedule creation and publication. Revenue management includes systems that enable fare pricing, fares and seat inventory levels, and ATPCO publication.Previously for Southwest, Jon served as senior enterprise architect responsible for Air Operations and Optimization Solutions.

Jon is senior enterprise architect responsible for aircraft operations and optimization solutions where he leads a team of architects, advances product/technology strategy and provides delivery leadership. Aircraft operations systems include aircraft communications/integration, operating schedules, flight planning, flight following, aircraft assignment and irregular operations. Optimization solutions are complex mathematical network flow solvers used to provide flight scheduling, crew scheduling, aircraft routing assignments, and recovery from irregular operations (e.g., weather events, airport delays).Recently, Jon led the architecture of Southwest first enterprise integrated products to public cloud leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Jon is a leader in Consumer Markets Advisory with a focus on strategic and cloud technology for clients in transportation, logistics, hospitality, retail and consumer engagement. Most recently for one of the largest US airlines, Jon is serving as program architect for a major development initiative for aircraft operations (operating schedules, flight planning, flight following, aircraft assignment and irregular operations), where he leads a team of architects and provides delivery leadership.Previously for this airline, Jon had served as enterprise architect over network planning (capacity planning, demand forecasting, schedule creation and publication) and revenue management (pricing, fares and seat inventory levels), where he led the architectural roadmap activities and active operational support.

Jon is a Director in PwC's growing Health Industries Advisory practice providing management, technology and risk consulting services to help healthcare institutions anticipate and address their most complex business challenges.Jon’s focus is digital strategic architecture and solution delivery within the application technology competency, where he leads teams to deliver strategy, enterprise architecture, governance, proof-of-concepts, mobile/digital/enterprise product delivery, identification of opportunities and/or risk, and best practices/development process optimization.
