I am a mixed methods researcher and evaluator with extensive experience in the research industry. I have worked at Research Director level for over 20 years - most of this time at Chrysalis Research which I founded with two partners in September 2010.At Chrysalis Research we work in close partnership with organisations from the commercial, not for profit and public sector who are looking to have a positive impact in their communities and the environment. Our research experience, independence and sector understanding help our clients get the most from the research they commission with us. The research we've undertaken since forming Chrysalis Research has helped clients make decisions and measure their impact at time when having a clear social purpose that aligns with core organisational values and activites has become increasingly important. In 2023 we have predominantly worked on programmes that have sought to make a difference to: the environment, digital exclusion, careers and aspirations and people's well-being. We have worked on multi-faceted, large scale national programmes, as well as evaluated single activity strands or place paced work. We enjoy the variety of the projects we work on and the opportunity to work on a range of pressing social and environmental issues.
