Jon serves as the President of the Stewardship Foundation. The Stewardship Foundation is a family foundation in Tacoma, Washington with roots dating back to 1947. It enjoys a rich legacy of Christian faith-based philanthropy, one based upon service to others. From local engagements to international strategies, the Stewardship Foundation shares its resources with the hope to alleviate suffering, to improve the lives of those on the margins, and to be an instrument of God’s healing and peace in our world.

Ran consumer marketing in Microsoft's Russia subsidiary covering Windows, Windows Phone and consumer online services. Drove consumer audience strategy, executed integrated consumer campaigns and developed marketing excellence with a young team.

Led cross-company competitive strategy for large, emerging competitor. Developed programs for commercial entities based on Windows Live services (e.g., Live@edu for universities). Ran product management team including inbound and outbound marketing.

Conducted business development to secure initial .NET platform reference customers. Scaled business development role worldwide. Led DPE group business management and worldwide field execution, growing from 300 to 800 employees and consistently exceeding adoption, developer satisfaction and revenue goals.

Managed Microsoft's revenue reporting system while partnering with business teams to standardize and transform Microsoft's cross-company sales and marketing processes. Implemented global CRM system and marketing systems. Built and led product management and program management teams

Joined the US State Department as a career diplomat, serving tours in Washington, D.C., the Dominican Republic and Ireland. Specialized in economic issues including TRIPS (international intellectual property treaty), WTO, money laundering and human rights. Also served in consular area (visas, US citizenship, etc.).

Practices law at large downtown Seattle law firm, specializing in land use regulation and real estate transactions. Conducted community work including political campaigns and chairing the Board of Directors of non-profit focused on serving the Seattle deaf and hard-of-hearing community.

Worked in Senator Steven's office for one year between undergraduate and law school, focusing primarily on Alaskan citizen issues. Built upon my political and civic activities as a child growing up in rural Alaska.
