I am currently a student at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, majoring in marketing management. I have taken many operations and marketing courses that have enhanced my skills in project management, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and various business and social media communications. I plan to graduate with a bachelor's degree in business administration within the next two years and begin working in a fast-paced environment that will challenge me.I am a seasoned customer experience ambassador with Best Buy. I have a history of working in the retail industry and excel in building relationships with people from all backgrounds. After nine months of working at Best buy, I was selected to build a team that put clients first and keep the store security up to standard. My team, whose goal was to provide the best service for the customers, exceeded our benchmarks and lead our district in customer feedback ratings while also reducing our shrink percentage. This was only achievable after organizing various training sessions, guidelines and goals for my team to meet and exceed. My interests range from enjoying live concerts, watching and occasionally playing hockey and experiencing Vancouver with my friends and family. I am especially passionate about hip-hop music and artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Chance the Rapper, Lupe Fiasco and Frank Ocean; and the culture that surrounds it. I am well versed in most social media and enjoy seeing my generation of people grow and advance communication and raise expectations.
