My role within Axa Life Invest is a Senior Retirement Specialist. This is a position within the company which I have been promoted to since joining in October 2013.The role includes developing and maintaining relationships with financial advisers throughout Essex and the South East.My role is varied as some features within the Axa Life Invest products are unique to the industry within the UK. Being able to take soft facts from an adviser and put together a compelling proposition for a retiring client is a key skill to my role.Due to the diversity of our proposition I have to have a strong knowledge in three key areas:1: Asset Management - Our Fund Management (volatility control/diversification and Rebalancing)2: Unit Linked Guarantees - Axa Life Invest and our competitors3: Industry Knowledge - Reading the pinks to stay on top of developing stories and regulation changesMy day to day role will include:Face to face meetingsGroup presentationsBusiness Development

Sales Development Manager for MetLife in the South East/Essex area. I was lucky to be one of the first employees to joing the company when they launched in the UK in 2006. During my time at MetLife I helped grow the company from a standing start to a company with over £3bn under management when leaving in September 2013. I had several roles during my time at MetLife. Last of which was a Senior Sales Development Manger. My role involved building relationships with 'cold' Financial advisers and developing their relationship and understanding of the MetLife products. Once relationships had been developed I then had to maintain these by providing a high level of service and support when needed.
