I am an experienced consultant and trainer and have worked in the not-for-profit, academic and statutory sectors for over 20 years, mainly in the social care and health arena.I am a CPD Registered Presenter, certified by the CPD Certification Service - an initiative to increase standards of CPD provision to professionals - and a Full Member of the Association of British Professional Conference Organisers (ABPCO), recognising skills and experience in event organisation and management.I am particularly interested in mobile learning, game based learning, and using social networks as personal learning networks.I have had a lead role in contributing to local and national strategies for Modernising Government, eLearning, and supporting frontline staff. I also developed and manage the Virtual Learning Centre - www.baillie.org.uk, an online learning environment to support students on a number of social work related courses, particularly Social Work policy and law.I have specialist expertise in the statutory requirements relating to information and data. Teams of students must raise sponsorship and manage budgets to fund research, travel and accommodation.
