- Designed, configured, and maintained NIPRnet (unclassified) and SIPRnet (classified) remote networks to extend Marine Corps Enterprise Network hybrid services to enable DoD training exercises. The largest project to date encompassed locations across the country, such as North Carolina, Louisiana, New Jersey, and California, establishing infrastructure for 3,000+ end users. Regularly created and provided documentation of network diagrams using Microsoft Visio. - Led and performed the operation and maintenance of secure Wide Area Network (WAN) connections leveraging technologies such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP with site-to-site, DMVPN, and FlexVPN GRE over IPsec tunnels, establishing redundant hub-to-spoke and spoke-to-spoke connections. Implement traffic segmentation for NIPRnet (unclassified) and SIPRnet (classified) using PVLAN, VRFlite, standard and extended ACLs, and encryption hardware (KG175D and KG250XS). - Led and performed the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN infrastructure network connectivity and redundancy, including, but not limited to, installing and terminating appropriate cables, administering VLANs, interVLAN routing, EtherChannel, Spanning Tree, VoIP, HSRP, and end-user (laptop and Cisco IP Phone) troubleshooting support. Experience operating and troubleshooting Satellite Communications terminals and TDMA networks (Viasat LinkwayS2 VSATs, Panter II, and SpaceX Starshield). - Responsible for over $5 million of Cisco networking equipment and related infrastructure. Conducted regular reviews of publications, replacement, maintenance, and patch management of Cisco 4400 ISR series routers and 9300 Catalyst switches. - Led over 1500 hours of instruction for new personnel on firewall/router/switch configuration, operation, and maintenance. Independently led and directed over 100 junior administrators designing and deploying Local and Wide-Area Networks.
