City Savers was instrumental in connecting many churches and Christian organizations with the Hillsborough County Emergency Management to set up a support system in preparing for probable large scale disasters.

After completing the job, I remained in Orlando and relentlessly made door to door sales calls while at the same time implementing some unorthodox marketing campaigns. The window cleaning business grew rapidly adding customers in and around the malls, several restaurant chains and acquiring a few high rise window cleaning accounts. The business continued to expand until it was purchased by A-1 Orange Cleaning Company where I took the position as Sales Manager.

During my tenure there, I organized Albany Jaycee The 1980 Hog Olympics which was the main event of the 1980 Sprit of America Festivities. The event drew 5,000 people and the proceeds went to the Sowega Youth Home. Hop-A-Long Berenakoff, the Russian Hog, won the Gold.
