I spent January 2011 - August 2011 completing my circumnavigation of the world (16,000 miles, 16 countries) by bicycle – it was extremely demanding both physically and mentally but its completion belies my most fulfilling achievement to date and readied me to build a successful career.

From April 2009 until May 2010,I spent 1 year travelling across Europe, Asia and Oceania experiencing very contrasting surroundings and immersing myself in differing local cultures.

South Korea

I taught a wide range of students, from kindergarten to adult classes. I focused on vocabulary and comprehension with my elementary students and grammar and role-play with my adult students. Therefore I have a quite a cross section of experience with respect to age and abilities. I also became very adept at classroom management. The experience of working in a different country enabled me to adapt my personal skills to be effective in a different culture and it also required me to learn new practices, methods and requirements that exist in a non-UK business.
