I certainly didn’t.But since joining the industry in 2007, I have learnt more than I could’ve imagined, met some of the most interesting and engaging people I know and I’ve never looked back.Working in underwriting provides a great opportunity to combine detailed analytical work with communication and presentation skills. Together with the chance to work closely with insurers, brokers, TPAs and some great colleagues ensuring that insured members are getting the products they need at a price they can afford, all the while ensuring profitability for the business.The IPMI market in-particular is one that is so diverse that there is never a dull moment.
