This technology has the potential to reduce the time and cost associated with traditional DNA profiling techniques by enabling rapid sample pre-screening to determine which merit DNA testing, aiding backlog reduction.Our workflow utilizes ultra-fast microscopic techniques to characterize the size, morphology, and autofluorescence profiles of individual cells in an evidence sample. Next, proprietary algorithms are used to match cell images to a large database of reference types and conditions and identify forensically relevant features of the evidence sample.
