Ubiquity University offers transformational higher education on an International basis to people wishing to make positive contributions towards solving global challenges.During 2023 I was offered the role of developing and running a publishing arm for the University to enable Alumni to share their groundbreaking work to a global marketplace. Ubiquity University Publishing has been set up to enable these important works to be available from an extensive list of online booksellers including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Alibris, Blackwells, Walmart, Indigo, Foyles, Waterstones - the list is extensive, and also includes upwards of 40,000 independent and niche online booksellers. The published books through Ubiquity will be available for purchase on every website - as a paperback, hardback and digital (kindle or ePub) edition. Each book will be designed to follow Ubiquity University Publishing's brand guidelines, aligning them with the important transformational values of the University.As well as offering the Alumnis and Students the opportunity to reach a global audience, like-minded Authors are also invited to submit work to add to Ubiquity's growing library of transformative works.My role is to work with each and every Author from start to finish, guiding and collaborating on a personal journey to bring their works to the attention of a global audience.Find out more: publishing@ubiquityuniversity.org

My role was representing Business Connect Magazine as chair of the judging panel for the Greater Manchester Business Awards. The inaugural ceremony took place at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel Manchester in May 2017. The panel consisted of 10 business leaders whose role it was to decide both a shortlist and winners from 10 award categories. The Awards have now celebrated their 6 year anniversary and Business Connect Magazine are continuing to support the annual event as Media Sponsors.

Eccles

A move to ATG meant a senior managerial position as Creative Manager. Overseeing the studio I was responsible for the punctuality and quality of work going through. Having a good foothold in the Cash and Carry industry meant a healthy mix of Direct Marketing Mailshots and below the line literature, POS and Marketing requirements. ATG were also handling a strong workload of Own Label packaging, notably the NISA range of products for Nisa/Today's Ltd and 'K' own brand label for Fitzwilton Distribution.

Adelphi Mill, Bollington

Moving directly to Baseline as a senior designer I encountered a much more challenging Position. My role as firstly Senior Designer and then Studio Manager involved Client Liason, Concepts and Visuals, Print and Repro Buying and of course day to day running of the studio. Major projects included an annual 200 page directory for the British Association of Conference Towns and complete range of Literature and Display material for some very prestigious Blue Chip Pharmaceutical clients.

Focal was an excellent starting point for a career in Design. Boasting a wide variety of clients I was principally involved in Corporate I.D. and Packaging. Starting with Concept work and Visuals I was given the opportunity to exercise gradually more creative control over accounts culminating in a complete corporate I.D. for Provincial Bank plc.Clients included Swizzels Matlow, Hitachi, Ferodo/Belaco.
