• Designed and developed Ribograph, an interactive web-based tool for browsing ribosome profiling data, using the Django Python framework and Vue.js.• Extended on top of Ribobase, an existing tool created by the lab to house publicly available experiment data, by adding dynamic charts to visualize the data in the browser• Designed an import script to incorporate our lab’s data into Ribobase, so lab members could use it to visualize their own experiments

• Ideated and developed an inter-university file sharing system for the University of Pennsylvania for use in structural biology research, focusing on data security and access control• Created an interactive online visualization for the Houston Food Bank to model their network of partner locations based on the clients they had in common• Designed and developed the new company website, focusing on more effective communication towards potential customers and the exhibition of past projects• Developed an ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) pipeline for Houston BCycle (bike-sharing program) to programmatically scrape data on a recurring basis into a custom database for enhanced reporting capabilities

• Developed a Machine Learning algorithm using historical data from the United Way 211 helpline to predict caller needs and referrals• Created a custom choropleth mapping component for the Houston Food Bank’s data visualization dashboards• Developed the front-end for a public facing dashboard to visualize the distribution of $60 million dollars in City of Houston and Harris County COVID rental relief• Developed a Machine Learning model using Natural Language Processing techniques to categorize incoming deliveries at the Houston Food Bank based on a free text description
