With over 15 years of program management and leadership experience in the nonprofit and public sector, I am currently the Aging Initiatives Director at Oklahoma Human Services. In this role, I collaborate with various teams and partners to deliver essential programs that address the needs of older adults.I hold a Master of Education- Gerontology and multiple certifications, including CPR and First Aid, New Manager Foundations, and Inclusive Mindset for Committed Allies. My career has been built on fostering relationships and collaboration through core competencies in allyship, social networking, and professional communication.A strong advocate for diversity and equity, I have served as a Diversity and Equity Officer at Oklahoma is Human Services and as a New Ventures in Leadership Partner—a program focused on cultivating the next generation of leaders of color in the aging field. My ultimate goal is to enhance the quality of life, health, safety, and economic security of diverse and underserved populations in ways that respect their differences.
