Walking the Camino de Santiago transforms people.  It also inspired the birth of Camino Cornerstones, a company dedicated to helping others experience life-changing events. At Camino Cornerstones, we believe in living simply, fostering community, and guiding others toward transformative experiences.There's so much emphasis on the event that sometimes it's easy to forget that the true journey starts when you get home.  Everyone I met, not most, all... 100% of the people I met on the Camino encountered some difficulty returning home.  Relationships failed, work wasn't the same, and some relapsed into bad habits.  I started my career in management consulting with a specialty in Change Management, and I take great pride in having been a people-first leader for the last 25 years.  I believe there's a way to help people overcome these common problems.  There's no silver bullet, no vaccination that can be administered.  There is however a process that can be managed and woven into the lifecycle of one's Camino.  We've assembled a team of people who share this belief and want to help future pilgrims as they get started, get ready, get there, and especially as they get home.

As COO, I reengineered the operational processed to drive a 100% gain in productivity while driving a 70% cost reduction.As CMO, I applied lateral thinking techniques to derive potential business value beyond retail including digital advertising (still the #1 revenue stream) and logistics (current strategic direction).

Invented a wireless protocol specifically for communicating location. The protocol was designed to run on COTS hardware to keep costs low and run on readily available licensed spectrum. Early applications included pet tracking and asset management.

Locate Networks devices were able to locate people and objects in extremely challenging environments including deep within a shopping mall or office building. I was directly responsible for the integration of Snaptrack A-GPS client software into a mobile device (two-way pager) and the build out of the server-side software for determining the location of the device. I led the teams responsible for sales support (customer success, sales engineering), product development /QA, our NOC and data center.

Acted as a "Chief of Staff" for the CEO and actively managed projects across a portfolio of sporting goods and service companies. Projects ranged from strategic evaluation of M&A opportunities to tactical replacement of ERP and warehouse management systems.

Founded American Crossing '96, a charitable organization raising money for the Fred Hutchison Cancer Research Center. Myself and four others participated in a cross-country bicycle ride. We raised money from corporate sponsors including large corporations such as Volkswagen and Andersen Consulting. We executed a PR campaign along the route which successfully resulted numerous radio interviews, newspaper articles and over 10 television appearances including a two minute segment from the Olympic games in Atlanta.
