Teaching Medieval British history, Western Civilizations, and World History courses prompts my interest in computing in the humanities. In addition to teaching where I've been expanding my use of, and developing new instructional technologies, I've also been involved in several computing projects: Typesetting Arabic historical sources using TEI/xml, TeX, and ConTeXt. And developing web interfaces for an image archive database in Russian architecture.I'm increasing the scope and depth of my Python language programming experience, and am looking for ways to put it to work, especially for education and cultural heritage institutions.Specialties: Computer applications in the humanitiesKnowledge management, search, and curationWriting and editing in the humanitiesHistory of Medieval Britain and Europe
