Manager of the team responsible for the implementation and configuration of voice and data services into Barclaycards building portfolio, BTeX and Aspect Telephony systems and Barclaycards 3270 / SNA, DEC VAX All In One, Telex and latterly the implementation of the first LANs and WANs including SNA Gateways.• During the later part of 1999 took responsibility for planning and implementation of the overnight power downs / power ups of Barclaycards two Customer Contact Centers to allow for the provision of electrical switchgear for the provision of temporary generators to cover the move into the new millennium, both tasks completed within timeframes and without any loss of systems/services.• From an IT perspective responsible for the selection of the new Dublin Contact Centre building.• Created the RFI for the Premises Distribution System (Data Cabling) and selection of vendor for the implementation of the new Dublin Contact Centre.• Managed the IT infrastructure and desktop equipment move to the new Dublin Contact Centre.1996-1998 Seconded to the Barclaycard Building Migration ProjectsJoined a small team of Barclaycard systems and services experts to work on the migration to Barclaycards two new buildings in Northampton and Teesside.• Author of the RFI for the migration of Desktop Equipment for both migrations – 3200 people in Northampton and 400 people in Teesside.• Worked with Project Directors to produce the IT move methodology.• Created the database to record the connectivity (patching) of each device onto the new buildings infrastructures.• One of four IT Move Mangers working in rotation to take overall control for the IT element of the each move.
