I am a retired Army Officer and Operations Research Analyst with a Master’s in International Relations, an MBA, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Armed Conflict and Crisis Management. I served as a Monitoring Officer in the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine in a number of operations and reporting positions. Now, I am serving as a Programme Officer with the OSCE in Tajikistan where I am responsible for a capacity-building project with the Tajik Border Troops. I seek to translate my military experience and background as an operations research analyst, planner, and leader into a second career in the international relations field. Of particular interest to me are jobs in conflict analysis, conflict resolution and stabilization initiatives. International development, democratization and civil society programs are also of interest. In the course of my work as an Army Operations Research Analyst, I've been able to participate in a number of interesting projects; including supporting a major US-UK Land Forces Interoperability Study and serving as Chief of Assessments for ISAF Regional Command South in Afghanistan.Previously, I served as an Armor and Cavalry Officer, where I had the opportunity to command a Tank Company in Iraq, be the executive officer of a Divisional Cavalry Troop in South Korea, and lead a Scout Platoon.I am experienced in operational and campaign planning; operational assessments and program evaluation; project management; quantitative and qualitative analysis; and articulating the results of my analysis via oral presentations and written products in a way that is relevant to the decision making needs of senior leaders.I bring a valuable combination of academic training, practical operational experience, and a desire to make a positive impact on the organizations I work with and the issues that I care about. Let me know if I can be of assistance to you and your organization!
