Broad responsibility for overseeing the development, marketing, and deployment of our Semantic Knowledge Source Integration (SKSI) technology, a data integration solution that obviates the need for data federation by using the Cyc representation language, CycL, as an interlingua. This effectively allows for potentially heterogeneous data sources to be reasoned with as though they were represented natively as part of the Cyc Knowledge Base.

As a Senior Ontologist, I have responsibilities in the areas of: Maintenance of and extensions to the Cyc upper ontology, prioritization and review of ontological engineering tasks, design and implementation of new approaches for knowledge acquisition. At present, we have been developing and strengthening knowledge acquisition approaches that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs).As a project manager, my responsibilities include: Authoring of project proposals and sales presentations; working hand-in-hand with customers to establish requirements, milestones, and success criteria; design and implement tracer-bullets and product prototypes; oversee teams of ontologists, inference programmers, and UX programmers to ensure successful and timely delivery; work to secure follow-on projects and product-licensing contracts; author papers and present notable research findings at conferences (where applicable).

Assist the Director of the Knowledge Formation and Dialogue (KF&D) department within Cycorp by helping set priorities, manage resources, and assist in the design and implementation of technologies used to expand Cyc's ability to automatically acquire content for its Knowledge Base, particularly through natural language understanding. Collaborate with the Knowledge Representation and Inference (KR&I) department so that target representations are aligned and Cyc's representational integrity is upheld.

Model complex phenomena using CycL, the world's most expressive knowledge representation language. Help extend and maintain the Cyc Lexicon -- Cyc's internal 'dictionary' that effects Natural Language Understanding and Natural Language Generation.

Assist the head of the training department in reviewing & updating training materials for new employees and clients. Help organize training courses.
