Before this he worked in China in financial services focusing on insurance for nearly 6 years.Prior to moving to Asia he obtained his Ph.D. in Quantum Physics from the University of Nottingham and was a student researcher at Isaac Newton Institute, Cambridge University, at the Rutherford Appleton Labs, Oxford, UK, the Institute Laue Langevin, Grenoble, France & Akzo Nobel, Deventer, NL.
