During an advertising internship Jon decided on a career in the media department once he learned he could get free tickets to major sporting events. He joined Arnold Advertising in Boston where he coordinated media billing and disbursements for McDonalds and other super-sized accounts. He also attended several major sporting events. He then spent the next eight years as an Account Executive at Hal Riney & Partners in San Francisco where he helped create and manage Saturn cars’ award-winning advertising. Jon joined SenaReider Advertising for a few years before freelancing on fashion, food, automotive, satellite radio, sports, international shipping, video games…blah, blah…back to the movie...Jon worked at 86 the Onions, a youth and entertainment brand communications collective. Worked at Curiosity Group in Portland managing digital projects for HP and other clients. More freelance: Shoes, cars, weird early childhood warehousing facilities, plastic injection molded stuff. In 2011 he moved to Vashon Island, WA to work at egg. egg is an agency dedicated to sustainability and the triple bottom line and a founding B Corp member.The lure of returning to work on an automotive brand brought him to Team Detroit in 2013. It is there where he enjoyed everything he did to help Ford. February, 2016 brought a move to Agency 720, working on the Northern California Chevrolet dealer business. Not on resume: Hard manual labor, service industry and crazy random stuff. For example he has dug holes with an excavator, built and painted fences and decks, he toured with the Grateful Dead and once sold Jerry a grilled cheese sandwich. He lived in Belize.Specialties: Branding, account strategy, television production, print and collateral expert, research, RFP development & presentation.
