Gadget Reviewer, Content Director And Influencer
My time is spent reviewing products, covering technology news, giving talks on content strategy and creating content in partnership with a wide variety of forward-thinking brands. I also contribute on commercial radio, as well as in national print newspapers and magazines.Currently covering camera and broadcast product content for WIRED UK, Metro Newspaper, TechRadar, Digital Camera World magazine, Amateur Photographer Magazine and Trusted Reviews.
Digital Editor, Accessories And Editorial Contributor - Freelance
I re-joined Time Inc. to assist the digital camera channel and introduce some new strategies to help it to realise its potential. Working with my team we delivered an immediately positive impact as monthly engagement figures increased month-on-month within the first two months of me working on the channel, peaking at over 500,000 page views on the Amateur Photographer website pcm. Amateur Photographer's social media following and impression share increased significantly under my management across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and is continuing on an upward trajectory.
Content Marketing Manager
My role was to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to Wexphotographic.com by creating and commissioning engaging content. That material is then shared across multiple channels, including the Wex blog, social media and b2c/b2b communications. One of my specific areas of focus throughout my professional career has been video content creation and that continued to be the case at Wex. This means I spent a portion of my time commissioning, filming, presenting and editing content that showcased technology and products that are of interest to Wex's broad community. The thing I love most about what I do is being able to help passionate people get more out of their technology - be that through sharing sound buying advice or inspiring them with rich content.
Reviews Editor (Written And Broadcast)
As part of the technical team at Time Inc. (UK) I contribute mobile technology, accessories and photography equipment review and preview content across Amateur Photographer magazine, What Digital Camera magazine and Trusted Reviews. As an extension of my role I was the content manager for a new IP launched by the imaging technology team, TheVideoMode.com in association with Canon. The Video Mode is a video-centric web magazine, with tutorials, reviews, features and news aimed at DSLR users who are interested in video production. To help launch the site, I created a 12-month content outline and three month content schedule. Additionally, my role involved commissioning, scripting, shooting and arranging video and written content to populate the site.
Technical Writer
As part of the technical team at IPC Photo I contributed photography equipment review, preview and test content across Amateur Photographer magazine, What Digital Camera magazine and Trusted Reviews.
Editor
After being given the Editor's position I initiated the title's transition into the digital age in recognition of reader's changing patterns in consumption of media and news content . Although it had its challenges, it remains one of my proudest achievements and helped to kickstart my journey into working in publishing full-time.
Art Director
heDD magazine was a men's print lifestyle magazine, that I helped to launch in April 2011. Circulation peaking at 40 000, sold in newsagents and WHSmiths nationwide.Featuring tech, game/film reviews, new music, celeb and sports news, MMA, health/grooming tips, cars, men's fashion and entertainment.
Internal Communications
Delivering on an award-nominated employee engagement piece, tasked with capturing the wonderful story of the once in a lifetime Olympic opportunity from a company perspective.Involves - Photography, filming, editing, conducting interviews
Internal Communications Executive
From September 2010, in the build up to London 2012, I was capturing the story of employees working for the Olympics’ longest-standing partner and sharing those experiences within the business as a vehicle for boosting moral, improving participation and supporting career growth within the company. The award-nominated piece that I worked on was recognised by CorpComms, as one of the most innovative and original nationwide employee engagement activations in the business category. My role primarily was to research and develop news, as well as capturing stories and content for our intranet site (Olympic Zone). This involved working with employees from across the business – including directors and managers to capture and shape compelling and inspirational communications, using social media, photography, film, interviewing and collating the stories of employees as they engaged with Olympics-related activities. These engagements ranged from working with Olympic-hopefuls and TeamGB athletes who had joined the business as part of Coca-Cola's Academy of Excellence programme, to volunteering activities - improving site-local environments and recycling drives, raising money for charities through sporting activities, and working on the Olympic Torch Relay across the UK, and working at Olympic Venues during the games as consumer, athlete and hospitality refreshment providers.

With a team of like-minded individuals I launched this webzine (http://www.WeAreHQ.com) earlier this year which is essentially a London-centric fashion/culture/lifestyle site, showcasing everything Londoners are doing/eating/watching/listening to/buying or should be.It has seen steady growth since it's official launch on february 14th 2010.
