I developed and executed an inventory system for on site electrical equipment that allowed company to maintain proper amount of equipment and increase efficiency in locating items. I also designed and implemented HMI pages to interact with new and existing instrumentation in the field allowing operations to monitor power production and address issues in a timely manor. Finally, I created an inventory of high voltage equipment and developed a preventative maintenance schedule to avoid situations where systems went down, thus saving company cost of repairs and production and ensuring equipment was running at maximum efficiency.

I directly supervised 72 first year college students living in Nye Hall and created and implemented social and educational activities addressing social development and helping residents' transition to college life. I was also responsible for various administrative tasks: communication logs, weekly reports, facility reports, and incident reports.

Jerritt Canyon Mine, Elko, Nevada

I was responsible for and performed the mapping of the electrical system at the Jerritt Canyon Mine spanning three underground mines, a mill, and several office buildings. I researched and gave proposals to superiors on where to place equipment that used large amounts of power to avoid loss of power and make mine more efficient. Through my internship I became familiar with one line drawings and power components on site.
