YouTube is a site I grew up on and grew with over the last decade. Way back to Windows Movie Maker on XP, I've created content to express myself, have fun and learn more about video production. I've created a lot of content over the last decade. Event coverage, video blogs, weather time lapses, gaming commentary, creative projects, Cinema 4D animations, etc. Around the summer of 2013, my main channel grew to the point where I was making enough money to invest in my content, buying better microphones, software and computer parts. It is more of a occasional hobby now, but will always be an outlet for my work.

During the spring of 2017, I worked as a video and photo editor. My daily duties included processing and managing visuals for online and print, shooting video packages and stories, managing and planning projects and editing video content. Nearly every story I created ended up as the main story of the day on the website, and two pieces won Hearst Journalism Awards in Multimedia News.

I worked as a video editor for the University of Missouri's Futures Lab Update, a show based around showcasing new and interesting technology for use in journalism. My work included gathering info on story ideas, writing scripts, and cutting together packages using Final Cut Pro X.

During the summer of 2016, I embarked on my first major film production for my first internship. The first week of production, I was on general assignment, working as part of the grip team, or the team which constructs the lighting schemes using a moving-truck worth of equipment. The following two weeks I was on the small audio team consisting of myself, one other, and occasionally the director. My friend and I worked together most scenes switching between holding/mounting the boom microphones and monitoring and recording the dialogue. For some scenes, we worked with wireless microphones, monitoring as many as six different actors and actresses at once.

Volunteer working shifts at the 6th and 7th VidCons, an annual online video convention. Duties included signing lines and help desks. I was among the 200 volunteers at the convention of over 20,000 attendees.

For the 2012-2013 school year at Francis Howell North, I was an editor an editor for the website http://FHNtoday.com. In the Spring of 2013, FHNtoday was nominated for and won an NSPA Online Pacemaker, being one of 23 sites in the nation.
