Initially hired to build a modern React application and supporting microservices in Java Spring Boot for the 401k product segment. This initiative enabled business users to efficiently look up plans, add supplemental configuration, and build a high-resolution enrollment book for onboarding individuals to their policy.Next up, I helped launch the Agile Release Train (ART) within the division, guiding the transition from Kanban to Agile methodologies. I provided Agile best practices, mentoring, and hands-on support to a team with limited to no experience using JIRA or Agile practices. Additionally, most of the team's skills were a bit dated, so I mentored them through the indoctrination of modern cloud-based approaches to building their back-end applications.I contributed to the re-architecture of the 401k product suite’s pricing and trading processing system. By leveraging distributed Spring Boot applications and a RabbitMQ event bus, we ensured the solution was auditable, maintainable, and fault-tolerant. This system integrated seamlessly with multiple external vendors and internal processes, enhancing the flexibility and reliability of operations.I was then tasked with forming and leading a new Enablement Team, focused on eliminating wasted effort in boilerplate configuration across applications and the DevOps pipeline. As a key member on our research and development team, I provide design and development of our flagship GoAnywhere MFT product that features an easy to use web-based interface built on JAVA/JSF/Primefaces. My primary focus is on UI/UX design providing full spectrum of producing design concepts and taking them all the way through to code. Provided solid development for multiple web-based applications with an emphasis on user interface design. I provide web design and layout services from Photoshop to code for both customers and internally. Primarily focused on JAVA based applications using JSF/Seam/Richfaces running on JBoss working with C++ back-end processing and Oracle databases. I lead development and design of a stand-alone application built with PHP running on MySQL. At BHMI, variety was the spice of life so working on multiple projects with varying deadlines all while on handling whatever is needed for company marketing (websites, print media, etc.).

I began my career as a Programmer Analyst, initially working on batch processing for credit card transactions. My role quickly evolved as I took on the development of a new web-based user interface using custom HTML and JavaScript to replace outdated CICS screens. This project significantly improved customer service productivity by creating a more intuitive, easy-to-use interface that streamlined operations, reduced training time, and enhanced overall efficiency.Subsequently, I transitioned to the Corporate Integration Department, where I worked on real-time transactional processing. In this capacity, I was responsible for processing transactions from various front-end systems and providing message translation to diverse back-end systems, including retail and credit systems. This role required a deep understanding of integration protocols and the ability to ensure seamless communication between systems.A key part of my responsibilities was maintaining a vast DB2 customer cross-reference database, which contained real-time customer information essential for transaction processing. My work ensured the accuracy and reliability of the data, facilitating smooth and secure transactions while supporting the company’s customer-facing and backend processes.

As a Fraud Management Specialist, I was responsible for addressing and resolving issues related to fraudulent credit card transactions at the point-of-sale. My role involved collaborating with merchants, customers, and law enforcement to identify and mitigate fraudulent activities, ensuring the protection of both financial institutions and their clients. I adhered to strict protocols specific to each card provider, including real-time monitoring of transactions to detect irregularities and prevent financial loss.In cases of suspected fraud, I engaged with customers and merchants to gather necessary information, applying tactical communication strategies to maintain control of the situation while keeping the prospective criminals engaged during the transaction process.
