Warminster Business Network is the re-launched brand of the dormant Warminster & District Chamber of Trade & Commerce. We are a social, collaborative group of local businesses for mutual support and promotion to increase economic activity within Warminster.

A change of tack into the External Fulfilment team to manage the varied and challenging space of short-term 'PopUp' non-sort & BWS warehousing across Europe. This covered 12+ sites from 6+ providers and building a stronger base with internal supply chain teams to take utilisation from ~40% (Q4 2020) to 95+% (Q4 2021).

Slight shift in focus to design and launch Amazon Logistics 2-person delivery operation (AMXL) with first deliveries in April 2018. Expansion of the network to 3 sites together with sortation facility to maximise line-haul efficiencies of this start-up network. Implemented scheduled deliveries in 4-hour slots in 2019 together with the first fully-integrated Drop Ship vendor into the network, a first across Amazon logistics operations globally. At Amazon Logistics, the customer is at the forefront of everything we do, we’re continually innovating on behalf of our customers to make every day an Amazon delivery day and ensure our customers can enjoy even more convenience when shopping on Amazon.

Tasked with expanding volume into the fledgling Amazon Logistics (AMZL) UK network by way of entitlement; either shipment origin or parcel types; Drove network projects such as enabling the first 3P and Vendor Flex nodes into AMXL, not just in UK but globally. Integrated European origin nodes into AMZL via the European Fulfilment network, as well as managing volumes for delivery into UK addresses from amazon.de and amazon.fr marketplaces alongside correct routing of Customer calls into the right language operators.Led the proposals and sign-off for handling HazMat shipments through the UK network as well as introduction of Age-verified shipments. Designed delivery interface for age-identification an implemented ‘mystery shopper’ initiative to monitor and track compliance to legislation.Single-threaded owner for the design and launch of AMZL UK’s SameDay network, first within London in 2015 hitting the goal to meet parity with 3P carriers within 6 months. Expansion to major conurbations outside London through 2016 with the step-change launch of free SD across the network in 2017. Managing programme change, volume impact analysis and re-planning, engaging with business stakeholders, regional management and UK-wide change teams.Ongoing data analysis and modelling for peak and strategic service centre network structure to maximise opportunities within property portfolio whilst maintaining and building service coverage, together with cost reduction initiatives and improving process efficiency.In 2010 Home Delivery Network Limited, one of the UK's leading B2C providers, purchased the domestic B2B and B2C business of DHL Express (UK) Limited through its subsidiary company Parcelpoint Limited. Promoted to UK Operations Manager based in Dunfermline with mission to drive through improvements in process control & compliance. Targeted with expanding knowledge-base and cross-skilling of departments to increase inter-function communication to drive sales growth and margin retention through cost control of activity-based costs. Delivered 95% reduction in A-class out-of-stock in 6 months within inventory budget increasing stock availability and reducing back-orders and shipping cost.Delivered roll-out of UK-wide Sales Force Automation (SFA) tool for KENT UK sales team (leading the European-wide €1M initiative) allowing automated SOE and increased pricing/margin control. Designed and implemented web-based pricing and stock availability mobile app for Toolcom UK sales team allowing sales to be more focussed and priced to drive up margin.Maintaining UK certification to ISO9001:2008, with wider scope to achieve re-certicfication of KENT European-wide operations, based out of France.Selected a member of divestiture team to complete due diligence prior to successful sale of three non-core business activities of Barnes Group UK. Managed shared-site operations/IT services with new VMI owner over 3-month transition period. Completed close-down of Corsham-based Distribution Centre and transfer of facilities and administration functions to Dunfermline DC and European HQ. Sale/transfer & close-down of operations generating estimated savings of $500k in severance and lease-exit costs.

Tasked with rationalising IT infrastructure and simplifying ERP processes (heavily bespoked System21). Delivered operational improvement plan leading to widened scope of UK QA, combining two UK QMS into one standardised format. Responsible for larger UK systems following two strategic acquisitions (2005/6) & developing integration project in line with US corporate strategy. Supplier reduction and contract reviews generating £20-25k savings year-on-year. Selected for corporate 'Foundational Leadership Program' in 2006. 2008 elected as Pension Trustee for combined UK DB/DC scheme.

Widened responsibility for leveraging value from IT/ERP investments across Europe; including standardised e-mail policy, euro-compliance, inventory control (£0.8M savings), MRP/MPS performance and building sales & margin benchmarking.

Partnership program between Warwick University & Lemmerz to improve manufacturing efficiency with the goal of 'batch of one manufacture with no economic disadvantage'. Identified and developed network infrastructure between legacy systems creating live shop-floor information delivery and display.
