Current• Partner with Key accounts (MTN, Orange, Vodacom, Airtel Africa, Africell) at the group level to understand their business needs, technology, and product requirements, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer account relationships to support my account management team.• Develop key growth sales strategies and action plans, successfully executing these strategies and leading the sales team to achieve financial targets and expand the customer base. Achieved over 25% market share in major accounts.• Developed new distribution partnerships, identify new trends in a shifting market and adapted the sales strategy accordingly.• Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team in a way that empowers individuals, maximizes sales team potential, and drives results. • Influence customer technology strategies through thought leadership engagements with C-Level executives and stakeholders within Key Accounts. Developed 5-year base station antenna strategies for Group Accounts (Vodacom, Orange Africa, MTN Group, Africell, Airtel Africa).• Negotiated and closed complex deals in the range $20-50M spanning 3-5years.• Lead revenue and demand forecasting with over 95% accuracy.Notable Achievements:• Achieved sales revenue targets in most of the years in the current position and was selected for the prestigious Presidents Club in 2016 for exceptional performance. • Established an office in East and Central Africa to address a growing and vibrant market. Built up market share in East and Central African from 3% to over 18% in 2 years.• Established mutually beneficial Business relationships with the leadership of the top network operating companies in Sub Saharan Africa (MTN, Vodacom Orange, Airtel, Africell, TIGO). • Diversified the product mix in the region through solution selling and achieved customer stickiness while growing our market share to over 25%.• Built and retained an aggressive sales team, with over 50% members of Commscope 100% Achiever Club.
