Retail Supervisor
CurrentIn the roles of Retail Coordinator and Team Leader, my primary responsibility is driving sales by heightening customer experience through our employees. The job requires:✅ A keen eye for detail✅ Discipline✅ The ability to multitask and manage time efficientlyAnd also:✅ Strong leadership skills ✅ The ability to influence outcomesI believe providing outstanding customer service goes beyond following a script. It’s about fostering a culture where employees feel confident, valued, and invested in contributing to the company’s success. After analyzing our weekly customer service reports, for example, I noticed our associates weren’t completing their daily tasks on time. I also sensed a lack of accountability and a significant division between the associates and the store’s leadership. By shifting my priorities slightly, I committed to joining the team on the floor for several hours a day, sharing tasks, as well. This collaborative leadership led to me earning respect, trust, and even friendship with my employees. I learned a lot about the work they did and made several changes that improved efficiencies. All of us became more accountable. The results were immediate, optimal, and customer service feedback scores surpassed the 55% goal, reaching 82%.As the outlet’s team leader, I train, mentor, and coach all staff, providing course corrections when necessary and encouragement at every opportunity. The job allows me to practice the art of asking meaningful questions, which leads to meaningful conversations. I am naturally curious, so I find it gratifying to learn something new every day from our customers and my team.Specialties: Team Leadership | Influence | Customer Service | Organization | Strategy | Relationship Building | Performance Maximization | Training | Onboarding | Mentorship
